MBBS course comprises 5 (Five) Years, followed by a logbook-based rotatory internship (clerkship) for 1 (one) year, which is compulsory for foreign students. Indian Doctors opt for a 1-year internship or clerkship in India after clearing the FMGE/NeXT (MCI/NMC Screening Test).
The course and curriculum for 5 (five) academic years will be the same in all Bangladesh Universities according to the guidelines of the Bangladesh Medical and Dental Council (BM&DC) and approved by the National Medical Commission (NMC) formerly Medical Council of India (MCI)

About the Medical Council of India MCI Screening Test:
MBBS Curriculum in Bangladesh same as the National Medical Council of India (NMC) formerly it was MCI, And the same Indian Authors Medical Books followed in all medical colleges in Bangladesh.
FMGE (Proposed NeXT) turnout passing rates are very high. Passing the percentage of the National Medical Council of India Screening Test Which is also officially known as the Foreign Medical Graduates Examination (FMGE) is a licensure examination conducted by the National Board of Examinations (NBE) in India.
